The Pan-African Surgical Healthcare Forum (PASHeF) was established in July 2023 as an African platform to devise solutions tailored to the needs and challenges facing the continent in improving surgical healthcare.

PASHeF aims to improve surgical healthcare in Africa by bringing together policymakers, clinicians, researchers, and advocates to address issues such as political commitment, health service delivery, and national policies.
