Dr. Admire Z.M. Munjeri, FCS (ECSA)

Dr. Admire Z.M. Munjeri, FCS (ECSA), is a Consultant General Surgeon and Deputy Surgical Director at The Luke Commission in Eswatini, where he also serves as Assistant Surgical Residency Programme Director. His work spans clinical surgical care, surgical leadership, quality improvement, surgical education, and health systems strengthening, with a focus on strengthening surgical services and improving access to safe, timely, and equitable surgical care.


Dr Munjeri completed his General Surgery residency through the Pan-African Academy of Christian Surgeons (PAACS) and holds the Fellowship in General Surgery of the College of Surgeons of East, Central and Southern Africa (COSECSA). He also completed the Executive Leadership in Global Surgery programme at the University of Cape Town and the University of Oxford Global Surgery course.


His professional interests centre on translating frontline surgical experience into sustainable health-system improvements, strengthening multidisciplinary collaboration, and advancing context-appropriate solutions for surgical care in Africa. He is particularly interested in surgical leadership, quality improvement, digital transformation, surgical education, and the development of resilient surgical systems.

PASHeF aims to improve surgical healthcare in Africa by bringing together policymakers, clinicians, researchers, and advocates to address issues such as political commitment, health service delivery, and national policies.
