Dr. Simba Kaja

Dr. Simba Kaja is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and healthcare leader from Zambia, with a passion for improving surgical systems across Africa. He combines over a decade of clinical expertise with advanced leadership training, including an MBA in Healthcare Management and an Executive Leadership in Global Surgery qualification from the University of Cape Town.

His experience spans leading orthopaedic teams in major public teaching hospitals and managing a mining-related trauma surgical ecosystem across multiple provinces. He is deeply committed to system optimization, using data-driven and evidence-based approaches to reduce turnaround times, improve protocols, and expand access to care through successful outreach programs.
