
Dr. Peter Mattew George
Dr. Peter Mattew George is a Liberian Citizen, A Global physician, general and trauma surgeon, global surgery researcher, and health-system professional Resident in Cameroon, currently attached to the Department of General Surgery at Hospital Protestant de Ngaoubela, Tibati and Hospital De District Sainte Jeanne Antide Thouret Galagala-Ngaoundal , Adamawa Region, Cameroon. He is a PhD Research Fellow in General Surgery and participates in The Operating Room Global (TORG) Global Research Fellowship – Mentorship Track 2026.
His professional interests focus on general and trauma surgery, rural and remote surgical care, global surgery, surgical capacity building, task-sharing, emergency and humanitarian healthcare, surgical research, and strengthening access to Timely and safe surgical care in resource-limited settings in sub-Sahara Africa.
